While we continue to develop and nurture our newly acquired labs in
the US and Italy, purchased in 2021, we further expanded our service
offerings with another major acquisition in 2022. In June we closed
on the purchase of SINTEF Norlab AS, the largest Norwegian-owned
laboratory group specialising in environmental monitoring, analytical
chemistry, microbiology and veterinary medicine. Rebranded as Nemko
Norlab, our ambition is to cross-sell services and grow beyond the
Norwegian market, fostering even closer integration within the Nemko
Group.

This year, sustainability gained momentum as we began implementing
the Nemko sustainability strategy in our conduct of business, preparing
for future more stringent sustainability requirements from governments,
customers and other stakeholders.
We also made significant strides in the area of technology and
innovation, particularly within the field of cybersecurity. The Nemko
New Business team has introduced easily accessible cybersecurity
solutions that have continued to gain traction with major international
manufacturers.
We also continued to invest in our digital transformation with the
recruitment of Nemko’s first Chief Digital Officer (CDO). This role will
play a crucial part in implementing our digital roadmap and setting our
overall digital strategy in close collaboration with central managers. The
focus now will be to enhancing customer and employee experiences,
streamlining our processes, and generating additional revenue streams
for the company.

cooperation throughout 2022. Our collective efforts have brought
Nemko forward again in a challenging year, and I am excited to continue
working together in the pursuit of safety, sustainability, and innovation in
the years to come.
